CHANGES TO OUR PROGRAM
During the 2009 Jury-Duty will concentrate on low income cat owners and free roaming cats. We believe that by focusing all of our attention in one area we will be able to make difference in our community. We recommend that if you are a low income dog owner contact Animal Control at (850) 595-3075 to access their spay and neuter program.
If you have any trouble accessing the program please contact your county commissioner. Their program is funded through an ordinance that Jury-Duty presented and had approved to our county commissioners in 2007 to fund a low cost spay and neuter program through an increased pet license fee. This program is funded by your dollars.

Jury-Duty Spay and Neuter has embraced and brought to Escambia and Santa Rosa County the concept of our counties being part of the "No Kill Movement" and has become the leading force in the preventing of the suffering, neglect, and needless killing of literally hundreds of future offspring from low income pets and free roaming cats.
A NO KILL COMMUNITY IS WITHIN OUR REACH
We are a non profit organization in Pensacola, Florida comprised of business professional and cat and dog lovers, who recognize that there is another alternative to status quo that our community is currently operating under. Adopt a few and kill the rest.
Shelters would like for us to believe that through no fault of their own they are merely performing the public's dirty work (euthanizing healthy, adoptable, unwanted pets) —with skill, compassion, and dedication. Nothing could be further from the truth. We assert that a No Kill community is within our reach—that the killing can and should be brought to an end.
Join our efforts today through volunteering or sponsoring a surgery for an animal in need in our community. Prevention of births is the only way to stop the deadly cycle of pet overpopulation and the only humane solution.
73% of our clientele has never been to a veterinarian with their pet, but our follow up interviews indicate that they are more likely to take their pet to the veterinarian for future visits. Our program offers low income pet owners the opportunity to be a responsible pet owner with our FIXX program we are able to financial assist low income pet owners.
Over 2000 animals have already been spayed or neutered through our $20 FIXX program since we began and many more are on our waiting list. WE NEED YOUR HELP TO CONTINUE our program. Your support will help us to provide the only humane solution to the pet overpopulation problem.
Thanks to people just like you who volunteer their time and donate to our FIXX program, we expect to be able to spay/neuter many more. For additional information about our program, please contact us at (850) 438-FIXX.
